4th Annual Geisinger Sports Medicine Conference
Join Geisinger Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine at our 4th Annual Sports Medicine Conference, Saturday, June 2, at the Critical Care Conference Room at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Registration begins at 8:15 am and lectures begin at 9 am. Topics will cover a "Potpourri of Sports Medicine Topics." Geisinger Sports Medicine sponsors the River Towns Race Series, which hosts a variety of races from running to biking and 5Ks to marathons, spanning the spring, summer and fall seasons. These races can be found in various locations in Central Pennsylvania from Wyalusing, Lewisburg, Shamokin and many more.
Need another good reason to get out there and get active? Wilkes-Barre Racing is hosting races this fall to raise money for the "Dave Thomas for Adoptions Fund." These races include a half marathon, 10K, and 1-mile run. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start training.
