Community ProgramsAt Geisinger Sports Medicine, we take a holistic community approach to sports medicine. Through injury awareness and prevention education, we can keep professional and school athletes informed of the potential risks, while working to minimize those risks.

The facilitators at Geisinger Sports Medicine welcome suggestions for educational and community events and programs.

GSMRiver Town Race Series

The River Towns Race Series is a group of 18 races that take place in and around the Susquehanna River in rural Pennsylvania. The races are of varying difficulty, ranging from relatively flat 5K running races to 75 mile road bike epics.

The series is designed to give both the beginning racer and the serious competitor challenges that will keep them outdoors, active and loving life.
