Orthopedic Sports Medicine - Woodbine

The brand new, state-of-the-art Geisinger Medical Center is located on Woodbine Lane in Danville and offers sports medicine patients an all-inclusive facility with a comprehensive list of services. This 33,000 square foot, $6.8 million building is situated inside the same complex as the Geisinger Outpatient Surgery Center.

Patients can receive sports medicine clinic services, orthopedic services, radiology services, and rehabilitation along with the following:

• HydroWorx® therapy pool— warm water therapy with an adjustable treadmill floor, jets for resistance, and video capabilities
• A 60 foot track and netting for evaluation and rehabilitation of sports injuries
• Work related rehabilitation area and functional capacity evaluations
• Two rooms for cast application and removal
• 20 exam rooms
• Procedure room
• Outpatient surgery center
• State-of-the-art rehabilitation gym
• Two fully equipped locker rooms
• Open MRI (offers a more comfortable experience for children or patients who are claustrophobic or oversized.)
