Geisinger Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is proud to be one of a select few sponsors of the River Towns Race Series Central Pennsylvania’s ultimate season-long, cross-discipline race series. The racing season begins every year in March with the Geisinger Humdinger, a 7.1 mile trail run, and continues with races of varying difficulty designed to give seasoned racers and beginners experiences that are second-to-none.
Each year, the River Towns Race Series expands to includes more competitors, and the role of Geisinger Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine has grown to meet their needs. For example, Geisinger’s Sports Medicine fellows outline all of the medical needs for the series, and Geisinger’s Certified Athletic Trainers provide medical coverage at all of the races. You’ll also notice Geisinger’s name on the Cheer Cards at each event.
